MARBURG COAL TRADE.
Records show that the coal trade from Marburg branch of the railway is showing remarkable progress (writes our correspondent). Last month the locomotive consumption was 325 tons 9cwt. Coal for private use was follows: From, Malabar, 18 tons 17 cwt.: Birru, 463 tons 9cwt.; Tallegalla, 60 tons, a total output of 867 tons 15cwt.

MARBURG, July 9.
Owing to the change over to a new seam in the Malabar mine the coal output last month was lower than it has been for some time, only 561tons being railed.

Malabar Colliery, in the Marburg district, which was closed down for a period, re-opened early In the month, and it is expected that the full staff will be re-engaged.
