Constable David Leahy 1879 – November 1895, Police Station, Rosewood
Constable D. Leahy has been transferred from the charge of the police station at Rosewood to Dalby. He had been stationed at Rosewood for nearly seven years, and during the past twelve months had full charge of the police station. He was presented by people of the district with a handsome gold locket, containing on the obverse two diamonds and a sapphire, and on the reverse the words, “Presented to Mounted-constable D: Leahy by his Rosewood friends.
